1st-3rd Grades: 2:20-3:20
Students will develop and enhance their loco-motor skills, manipulative movements and strength with instruction that includes rolls, cartwheels, handstands, spring-boarding, strength building and tricks using bars, balance beams and  body awareness.  Students will develop their coordination skills, confidence, strength, flexibility, discipline, and creativity.  Skills taught will be based on the level of the group / individual.

This is a fun introductory class where students learn the fundamentals of Basketball, Soccer, T-Ball and possibly other sports that they express an interest in.  Each sport will be taught/played for 2-3 weeks before moving on to the next one.

This unique class focuses on building strong hand-eye coordination, increasing gross motor skill development, teaching strategic thinking, team play and sports-manship.  Students participate in fun games each week that can include Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, Ultimate Frisbee, a variety of Runnng/Relay Races, and other games or sports that students want to learn/play.

Mixed Media Art

Unleash their creativity and enhance their fine motor skills. Students will be exposed to a variety of artistic techniques, mediums, and famous artworks, with a focus on drawing, painting, mixed-media collage, sculpture and more. This is an excellent class for beginners to intermediates, as students will become immersed in the world of fine art, build a wide range of skills, and learn a variety of ways to express themselves creatively. 

For Kindergarten/Journeys:
With a focus on skill-building, they will learn to draw and paint, use safety scissors, how to glue, etc.  Exposed to a variety of age appropriate art works as inspiration, students begin to learn the basic elements and principles of art and design.

For 1st-5th Graders:
More advanced concepts: incorporating color theory (warm and cool colors, complimentary colors, etc), and a more in-depth understanding of the elements and principles of art and design. Exposure to historical and contemporary artworks, with discussion on how different art principles are incorporated into each.​

Imagine you had your own Kid "Kave", where you hang out and let your imagination soar!  Join us and build one.  There is plenty of measuring, sawing, sanding and gluing in this project.  Let's see if your friends and family can figure out where the secret compartment is! Students use a variety of tools and feel a sense of accomplishment and pride as they build their project and watch it develop into something recognizable.  During the process they are both learning and having fun. WOODWORKING (1st-5th)  Registration Closed †
Make way for our new Wood Worker's Truck.  Join us in building your very own truck.  Involving the usual measuring, cutting and assembling, there is plenty to do in the making of this Truck.  As with most delivery trucks, the back opens for storage of many items, the wheels turn and there is an additional secret compartment that only those who build it will know where it is!  Students use a variety of tools and feel a sense of accomplishment and pride as they build their project and watch it develop into something recognizable.  During the process they are both learning and having fun. MIXED MEDIA ART (Kindergarten/Journeys, 1st-3rd)  CANCELED
Give your children the gift of enhanced self-esteem and self-confidence by unleashing their creativity and enhancing their fine motor skills. Students will have a lot of FUN as they are exposed to a variety of artistic techniques, mediums, and famous artworks. FLAG FOOTBALL (4th-5th)  CANCELED
Students will have TONS OF FUN while enhancing their skills to play Flag Football.  Skills to be taught include passing, receiving, blocking and punting, with a focus on developing strategies, plays, teamwork, rules and scoring.  They will learn to warm-up and stretch at the beginning of each class.  Benefits including enhancing eye-hand coordination, movement and teamwork skills while becoming increasingly fit.

TENNIS & T-BALL (Kindergarten/Journeys)  Register
Students will TONS OF FUN while learning both tennis skills (and a "love" for a lifelong sport) and t-ball (beginning baseball).  For tennis, we utilize portable nets & down-sized racquets.  The skills taught will vary depending on the level of each group.  Some of the tennis skills that will be taught include grips, forehand, backhand, volleying, rules and scoring.  The benefits of these skills include improved eye-hand coordination, improving concentration, sharpening thinking, mathematics, social and communication skills, as well as enhancing self-confidence.  For T-Ball, we will teach the FUNdamentals including running the bases, catching and throwing, hitting, rules and teamwork, etc.

YOUNG ENGINEERS (Kindergarten/Journeys, 1st-3rd, 4th-5th)  Register
Students will learn to follow basic plans and develop their creative building skills as they are introduced to basic Math and Engineering concepts using building toys such as Lego, and other building materials.  They will learn to drive a remote control motorized car and learn what Engineering concepts were applied to make this vehicle function (e.g., round wheels, motors, gears, batteries, remote control, electricity, etc).  This class will help them to develop their critical thinking skills and problem solving skills; and they will have FUN and a great learning experience. BASKETBALL (Kindergarten/Journeys)  Register
Get your child prepared early to play on a Recreational Basketball Team.  Students will have FUN as they learn/improve their Basketball skills.  This Basketball class focuses on teaching solid individual player fundamentals including dribbling, shooting, passing, teamwork and SPORTSMANSHIP.  Mini-Games will be played to enhance the learning experience.  Classes are skill development oriented; not competitive.

Students enhance their fitness, athletic skills including speed and agility in this SUPER FUN after school program.  This unique class focuses on building strong hand-eye coordination, increasing gross motor skill development, teaching strategic thinking, team play and sportsmanship.  All students participate in amazing and fun games each week that can include a variety of running/relay races, games such as Dodge Ball, Ultimate Frisbee, Capture the Flag, and other Games, as well as Sports that the Students would like to learn/play.

HIP HOP (Kindergarten/Journeys, 1st-3rd, 4th-5th)  Register
Students will "Get their Groove on", get a great workout  and  have TONS OF FUN learning today’s pop culture style of dance.  Children will learn to move to their favorite songs and learn routines to music created by their favorite artists.  In this class, students will not stop jumping, clapping, turning and performing today’s most popular moves.  Not only is this class a great workout, but it is a fun way for children to learn rhythm and coordination. They will put on a mini-performance at the end of the session to show off all of their cool grooves.

Students will develop/enhance their loco-motor skills, manipulative movements and strength, with instruction that includes rolls, cartwheels, handstands,  jumping off of a springboard, strength building and tricks using bars, balance beam and body awareness.  Your child will develop his/her coordination skills, confidence, strength, flexibility, discipline, and creativity, which will serve as “stepping stones” as they progress into more advanced Gymnastics and/or other Sports.  Skills taught will be based on the level of the group and individual.

MUSIC: GUITAR (1st-3rd, 4th-5th)  CANCELED
Students in these small groups will learn guitar and some music theory, as well as playing songs.  The class will include rhythm and percussion activities, an introduction to reading music, guitar chords and basic music theory.  Guitars will be provided for each student during class, but we encourage parents to purchase age/size appropriate guitars for their child so that he/she can also practice at home.  Increasingly challenging chords and songs will be taught depending on the age and skill level of each Group.
