A Welcome to Dual Language Coach, Anna DeGenna

It is with great EXCITEMENT that we welcome Anna DeGenna, Dual Language Specialist, to Sumac L-STEM Elementary for the 2015-2016 academic school year. Anna has been contracted by LVUSD to collaborate with our dual language program teachers and staff.
She has founded two dual language programs from the ground up, works with programs throughout Ventura County, and represents dual language education at the state level in Sacramento.
She will be providing guidance, coaching, and training to address our needs and challenges, while helping us grow our program.
Anna will be at Sumac, working with staff, on the following days:
October 20th, November 30th, January 15th, February 22nd, March 15th, April 26th, May 24th, June 9th (SDD)
As we begin on our journey with this seasoned coach, we would like to invite you to share your experience and provide feedback on our program through a community needs assessment on Tuesday, October 20th at 3pm. We will meet in the MPR, stage side, for our first get together. Please let us know if we can look forward to your participation by submitting your name to our RSVP list by Monday, October 19th. We anticipate that the meeting should take one hour.
